When sound interferes in a workplace it has a direct impact on a person's well-being. In acoustically poor environments, this noise will negatively impact the individual's ability to concentrate and communicate, sometimes referred to as speech or communication "intelligibility".

Persistent noise is a known hazard. If it is not treated correctly it will have long-term health effects on people in the workplace. The symptoms from noise exposure may include headaches, fatigue, anxiety and this can lead to cardiovascular disorders such as high blood pressure and heart disease.

Yes. Included in your quotation is a noise assessment report to determine:

1. How severe the acoustic issues are.

2. Whether any existing noise controls are effective.

3. What remedies should be implemented to resolve the risk.

4. How urgently the acoustic solution should be actioned.

Depending on your needs and the space to be treated, most acoustic installations aim to achieve the following:

1. Significantly reduce overall Sound Pressure Levels (SPL).

2. Reduce room reverberation and echo to appropriate levels.

3. Reduce interior and exterior sound transference.

4. Increase communication intelligibility within the space.
